If Japan follows Germany. This mean Japan is innocent. Japanese millitary at taht time was only wrong and current Japanse government and citizens don't have to apologize for their war crimes. Germany has never apologized to their colonized country yet, so Japan don't have to apologize Korea or other Asian countries any more.

I grew up in Nanjing, i believe my own grandfather. He told me about that not the public.
If you are far away from this place, any information you know, whether movie or historical record, is second hand. You are only told by someone else that sth has proved to be lie. Those group of peolpe might be against China themselves.
I didn't know any fake photoes, but i think even there were, Nanking massacre is 100% real.

Regrettably my friend's groundfather didn't see and hear any massacre in Nanking. Chinese soldiers traditionally did massacre citizens every time in civil war. Do you know National Party did arsons and loots（清野作戦）during the war. Could he discriminate Chinese and Japanese violence?

I don't deny all murder by Japanese soldier against the law. It's possible they killed many prisoners, though Chinese soldier killed most Japanese prisoners. But, as far as I know, Nanking massacre(100,000 victims at least?) is only propaganda.
Anyway, Nanking Massacre is a troublesome incident for each other.

My friend's groundfather didn't see and hear any massacre in Nanking. And why would he lie to his family and me? What would his motivation be? He was not even soldier. I also have sure acquaintance's testimony which is the same level with yours. Then how should we do? We can't avoid depending on historical data.

Most civilians were in safety zone before Japanese army entered Nanking except for a few foreigh journalists and robbers. According to international committee offical report T-6 1937/12/13, "We made most Nanking civilians flee to safety zone"

What he SHOULD have done was used footage from the Magee Film. I beleive they have it here on youtube.

The only reason why people say Nanking was fake was because Frank Capra used staged footage of Nanking in his movie The Battle of China.
The John Magee film shows REAL footage of Japanese soldiers killing Chinese civillians and POWs. Look it up, you can see from the Magee film that Nanking is REAL.
