My nail polish dries too quickly in the water what do I do???

I tried it today, thanks for the tutorial. I am having a difficult time figuring out which part of the design to stick the nail into. I used gold base color, red & blue alternating 6 times in the water. 1/2 my nails are mostly red and 1/2 are mostly blue. I'd like it to be all the same. So metallic nails colors don't work in the water? How many fingers do you tape and dip at a time?

@iiRosePetal Maybe try a different brand of polish. The one she uses is really nice, the ones I use are mediocre and tend to split a lot. But I got them to work by doing exactly what she does so it's possible :D
