i saw them on the other coast (the west is the best)- and yes, they are a MUST see. especially in the 21st century- when 99.9% of the original music I hear is uhmmm.... how to put nicely.....NOT very good.

nah. its just that fire-eater and right on are really similar. and "let the music take your mind" by the gba is a lot like a john scofield tune called "kool". thres plenty of other acid jazz/funk tunes that are really similar.
