that same law is where I live but the cops here will not say anything as a matter of a fact I got stopped when I was a kid and was told to keep it off the street because bicycles are not a motorvehicle meaning they can not be on the street I was also told they would rather us be on a side walk and safe rather a car have to do 20mph below the speed limit because we are on the street whcih will cause a wreck ticket or not get his badge take him to court and press charges for being herassed
