  • so this is what it's come to, huh america?

    fighting for lemonade stands...

further proof this country is doomed.

  • For those who have a problem with the system,

as is laws arent made in a democratic way,

there is a thing called "civil war" for these cases.

Or you can also keep on peacefully protesting and maybe theyll throw you a bone

just to make you think that you still control something.

Dont underestimate your gov., they are smarter than you.

  • @Ducky888888 No, Ducky, they're not smarter it is just that they use violence, & legally so. If it really were a competition of wits we'd mop the floor with them. So, no, I can't endorse your call for a civil war. In a contest of violence they will mop the floor with us. Civil disobedience, on the other hand, is the way to go.

  • @MrDarrenlobo2112

You mean like the Gandhi way?

I wonder if it really could work just because i dont believe the UK left India because of Gandhi's protestation.

  • Okay so you guys understand, the law is there for a reason. Law applies to everybody, not personal circumstances. This law protects you and your families. It makes sure that your children doesn't die from food poisoning from a taco stand because of dirty unregulated conditions. Btw if there wasn't a vending license needed, there would be so many stalls on the side of streets, you wouldn't be able to walk on them.

  • @LickMyLama Actually the laws you describe are there to limit competition & insure that the govt knows who is selling what so they can tax them. The order & safety BS is just the sales pitch so the sheeple will go along with being ruled.

You point out the dangers of socialist roads & sidewalks. If they were private they could be regulated by their owners so you don't have an overflow of vendors with out the Gestapo tactics.

  • @MrDarrenlobo2112

Yes maybe you are right but you are addressing a whole different problem.

For now its like LickMyMama says so you cant do nothing about it.

To provoke the police this way is completely childish.

  • @Ducky888888 No, Ducky, we're protesting the licensing laws & regulations. Rosa Parks was on a bus getting to where she needed to go. She stood up to something symbolic only. I don't think you'd characterize her actions as childish, would you?

  • @MrDarrenlobo2112

    Rosa Parks case:

"In the end, the boycott lasted for 381 days."

    Good luck with it!

  • Hear Hear!! I love seeing freedom loving Americans in action.

  • If life gives you lemons pick up a lemon and squeeze it in a trespassing government bureaucrats eye. It will improve their vision. :)

  • So tell us more. Was this stand shut down? Was it set up on private land, or a public park? I'm glad people like Mr. Fernandez are standing up for freedom from crushing bureaucracy. But defiance in the face of the police goes against the spirit of the event. Rather, it's about showing the seriousness of the problem, then working within the system to remove the bad laws and bureaucracies. Only this can restore our freedom. Defiance only makes outlaws of us all.

  • @TheAlphadial The police left us completely alone, they didn't even ask us a single question. Whether this was because they didn't realize what we were doing, thought we had permission, or were under orders not to do anything we don't know.

  • We don't need permission from our elected representatives, they need permission from us. The way things are going I don't give them permission for anything.
