  • Nineteen fifty seven or fifty eight. It was a different time, you see.

  • Where is the space craft now?

  • Truthmossis....... there you go with this crap..... "Afro-Cuban" . Cubans refer to themselves as Cuban, no hyphenation. These hyphenated nationalities are an American invention. May be we need to follow their lead and refer to all Americans as Americans, after all it is redundant to call a black American an "African American" , one glance and the ancestry is confirmed.

  • Just spotted a flaw in this video. When you see President Reagan inside the mission control room talking to the astronauts, he's sitting next to Daniel Brandenstein. Yet Dan Brandenstein is meant to be on the space shuttle that the president is talking to LOL

  • Sad look at the views for this video, and compare them to those of lil wayne or gucci mane. real sad.

  • he's a nice man

  • Great video. Can you post a video about the first Black man in space? He was an Afro-Cuban cosmonaut in the 70s and doesn't get enough recognition in the U.S.

  • Very nice!

  • If what you say is true, perhaps you should choose your words a bit more carefully so you don't offend so many of every color.

  • It irks me that he gives no mention of all the men who paved the way for him in the Old Negro Space Program.

  • Cool! I have a question though. I know they wanted to perform a night launch, but why what till 2am in the morning?

  • If the shuttle is docking with ISS or anything else, there is a certain launch window during the launch day which the shuttle can meet the other object's orbiting path.

  • Thanks!

  • Oh please.

Even if this video was titled, "Astronaut Guy Bluford" people would type stupid shit like, "Wow, I never knew about this guy. He's a great role model for young (black) people." Or, "He was only picked because he was a semi-competent nigger. Many white men could've done that job better."

People would make his race a big issue either way so we might as well make it as nonconfrontational as possible.

  • I can see why you might have been offended by the comment I posted 3 weeks ago but many of the words I used were meant to demonstrate a klansman's perspective.

I'm actually as black as black people come. My parents hail from Uganda and as far as I know negroid blood is the only blood that runs through my veins.

I simply use words like nigger, negroid and porchmonkey to show dickless white supremacists how little they affect blacks who are as racially conscious as myself.

  • I watched this launch. It was the first night launch ever.

  • HE IS WHY IM PROUD TO BE A OVERBROOK GRAD

  • He's my Cousin!

  • wow. Great video. I've never heard of this man before. Thanks for the vid.

  • Wow! Really? He was the first black male astronaut and Mae Jemison is the first black female. They both are REAL role models! :)

  • Hehe he is my boyfriends great grandfather.

  • Nice =D go man go XD

  • What a remarkable man!

  • yo that was goood

  • nice video thanks

  • spamming? u mean like that FRUIT who pasted that death threat to you?
