Actually there is worst. It happens during the birthday of Matzu in the county of Chiayi. The tigerman (Huye) carry the palanquin of the tiger god, and every so often put 20-30-40kg of fire crackers under it. They all stand as a tight group as they get engulfed in fire, noise and smoke, the crackers a meter away from them.
