Wow, i knew him as SSG Struecker. He was my squad leader for a year to include our time in Somalia. Interesting to see where life has taken him.

i actually met him at our church just yesterday,

spoek with him and shook his hand and also had my picture taken with him,

omg, he is unbelievably awesome =D,

what he did in desert shield and desert storm and what he's doing now is just incredible,

my buddy said he heard a few guys from 3rd bat call him a shitbag. My reflexes took over and I slapped him instantly. I dont remember what his defense was. I didnt care. He is a war legend to me. When I watched Black Hawk Down as a child I always admired the Rangers. I never thought I'd meet any of the guys to take part in that fight let alone meet a man I viewed as a war legend. Im glad I grabbed my balls, manned up, and volunteered to be a Ranger

Jeez, SSG Struecker became a CHAPLIN? I can still hear him screaming at us in R.I.P, "GOSH DARN IT, WHY ARE YOU WALKIN, RANGER? WHAT IN THE HECK IS WRONG NOW?" I guess it figures, never heard the man curse once. Gives new meaning to the quote "If God is for us, who can be against us?"
