A round-headed pair of Channel Locks works pretty good for rocking out the bigger stuff. End nips also, on the wire nails. That Nail Jack dude seems to be the king of spamming up anything to do with nail pullers. Clogging up a search isn't a good way to market a tool even if the tool works. I want to see a vid of that Lee Valley forged nail puller. A reviewer said it would bite up recessed nails with the heads popped off.
@ytctma Thanks for the heads up about the Nail Jack spam. I never bothered to look at his channel. Just a bunch of sales videos. I usually just key on the channel name.
@headholio Yes, you're correct. Too bad my wrists tend to bend more one way than the other. It's very awkward to twist my right arm in a counterclockwise motion.
after watching this video I have used the linesman pliers method for about a year now.. and i gotta tell ya Tim - works like a charm every time.. in base, casing, jamb, all trims.. thank you for that trick!.. for years I beat the nail through the other side
Hello Tim and thank you for all the videos, I am learning a lot !
One comment here if I may, as I think this might benefit your viewers. One should never, ever, point the operational end of a tool towards one's self. The way you used the hacksaw in this video seemed a bit dangerous to me.

See "The Extractor" extracting pliers. Arrrgggg.
Now if I could just find the idiots that believe pneumatic nails in furniture joints are a good idea (and if one is good 8 is better).
