It's not originally Afghan. It's an Urdu song from a popular Indian movie called "Waqt". It's popular in Pakistan and has been translated into many regional languages, including dari and pashto.

FYI...the original composition of this song is Afghan...it was composed by ustad Breshna ( father of modern compositions in afghanistan), which he sang himself in the late 50s in Afghanistan. Then later it was used in a Bollywood movie. So it is not a hindi compositions, but an authentic afghan composition.
