Yeah, I know this fruit....my husband is Vietnamese and they have a lot in Vietnam. It's actually my favorite exotic fruit. To open it you have to find it's natural lines. Just like a banana can divide in three pieces from it's top so does the Durian. But it has to be ripe (the fruit is ripe when it cracks open along it's natural lines. If it's not ripe, the meat will taste a little bitter. When it's ripe, the meat is soft and sweet, yummy!!!! You can buy it frozen too.
Yeah mine was a little red on the inside and I bet it was not completely ripe! I tried to open it along the line and was not strong enough! Sounds like when it is completely ripe it is a bit better!

Well she is 16 ..if thats the worse thing she says I think we are doing ok. She is a good kid and when you have a teenager you have to pick your battles instead of her saying the word ass as a battle I am focused on things like her not doing drugs, having sex, getting pregnant or drinking So far I am winning these battles.

Well aren't you just as much a potty mouth by repeating what she said? You could have said that she said it smelled like "behind" or "butt" but you repeated exactly what she said.
