The fetus inside them is new, and the way the walk shouldn't matter as it looks significantly more discomforting (And is just a walk). Silent Hill and it's characters morph constantly, how would you know what's out of character for someone or the world itself when it's ever changing?

@InsideTheMirror I honestly don't mind them taking things from the movie. It's derivative and shows a lack of creativity but whatever. Despite the original developers being inspired by Jacob's Ladder, this game actually ripped the plot off.

The out of character thing is actually pretty easy. The series hasn't changed all that much. Heck Silent Hill 4 wasn't even originally a Silent Hill game.

SH has always been about psychological horror, this whole torture scene was out of place and obvious.

I have a feeling your one of those Team Silent fanboys dressing up as a Silent Hill fan. SHH is far and away from Jacobs ladder.
