Mine's a little different story. I'm a farmer in Nebraska (35 years) and purchased my farm in 2004-- financing from WF. 20 year note with fixed rate for 5 years. Made my first 5 yearly payments (principal and interest). Excellent credit record and unlike homes farmland increased in value 50%. Went in to renew my loan last year and they REFUSED ME! Some cockamamie crap about "your X doesn't meet our requirements for Y" Total BS! Refi with RaboAG no prob. And WF got HUGE govt. help! They SUCK!

You really need to read up on laws you have no idea about the laws of banking. This is what happens when you make uneducated deals. Any bank would have done this you and the others. Also telling me the couldn't find my payments , and sending me foreclosure letters. I told them they could have the house back. Today I got a call that all is well. Wells Fargo LIES to Congress! I applied thru NACA for a loan restructure. WF denied me without reason. I complained to Henry Waxman. Later I got a call from Mr. O. of WF who LIES and says he is calling from 'Office of the President of WF'. He is not even in the same city as the executive office. 3 months later I got another denial from WF without reason. I complained to Henry Waxman again. Their office said WF said the denial is because I never contacted WF. This was a big LIE. WF Sucks
Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is TERRIBLE!!!! After more than 7 months of delays and unanswered calls, our loan is still pending. My experience is a long string of unresponsive personnel who pass the buck to a multitude of other departments. However, they never actually call the other departments and often do not answer calls.

There is no investigation on your behalf, it's just "here say" from a inner source. if a check is held, it's because it's over 5k and it's verified before being deposited. Its for your protection. alot of time people get upset about not getting their check endorsed due to them not being able to get the monies and spend it wherever. WF ensures that any checks made out payable to the home owner and the bank will be credited to the home.

My house was foreclosed last week by Wells Fargo after admitting that they made a mistake. The house is still in the process of a short sale when their Trustee auctioned off my house. They told us to file a "request for rescission or redemption" to undo the sale which we did the following day. I will keep you posted for the outcome cause few days ago, i received an open letter on my mailbox from a broker to get ready for a smooth transition. Wish me luck cause i need it.

While I was in San Diego for medical treatment, Wells Fargo Financial locked my wife and I out of our house and winterized the house.
I am current and paid up to date on my loan.
Our water was turned off leaving thousands of dollars of trees and plants without water. Anti freeze was put in our pipes. (It is 100 degrees plus in Arizona in August).
Our door lock was destroyed, and a lock box was put on our door.
It took two stress filled days to get our water and electricity turned back on.

I have been fighting for 2 years to keep my home w/Modification Plan, guess what - They are unable to help because we don't make as much money as we did when we started 15 years ago. They want our house for a short sale. I'll burn it to the ground before I let them have it. They've ruined my credit by letting me pay lower monthly payments while they "work things out" so now I'm 7K behind and WF has reported it to the credit agency so I won't be able to buy any other home.

Also, you need to realise that home values have dropped every where. my parent's mortgage is pretty much fine however homes within the area that my parents are at have basically dropped due to the economy. I tried to switch to a cheaper cable tv service over the weekend and was told my credit is so bad I would need to make a $450 NON REFUNDABLE deposit to take AT&T uverse. Yes they do suck. I tried to get a "Streamlined" home refinance starting Sept 2009. They told me that no expense to me and minimal paperwork they would have me refinanced in 6 to 8 weeks. Well, lie lie lie. After 8 weeks they demanded I pay for an appraisal (so much for no cost to me). Then, when they didn't like to appraisal (too high) they demanded ANOTHER appraisal, (also at my expense), a road maintenance agreement with Thomas R Palmer
They were going to increase my credit line percent unless I opted out.

The mortgage industry is a fraud. I understand Wells Fargo owned Ameriquest Mortgage Co. and they settled out of court for $325 million to end a fraud investigation by 37 state attorneys general. I wonder how many billions they got away with before Ameriquest went under.

Kim I have bank of America and they suck too!!! 14 months of waiting for them to input my modification and at the same thin telling me to pay whatever they say to pay. Also telling me the couldn't find my payments , and sending me foreclosure letters. I told them they could have the house back. Today I got a call that all is well. And mow I have extra money I'm my account because they had miss apalied my money to some fee I never even knew about. Omg!!!'

Wells Fargo LIES to Congress! I applied thru NACA for a loan restructure. WF denied me without reason. I complained to Henry Waxman. Later I got a call from Mr. O. of WF who LIES and says he is calling from 'Office of the President of WF'. He is not even in the same city as the executive office. 3 months later I got another denial from WF without reason. I complained to Henry Waxman again. Their office said WF said the denial is because I never contacted WF. This was a big LIE. WF Sucks

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is TERRIBLE!!!! After more than 7 months of delays and unanswered calls, our loan is still pending. My experience is a long string of unresponsive personnel who pass the buck to a multitude of other departments. However, they never actually call the other departments and often do not answer calls.

There is no investigation on your behalf, it's just "here say" from a inner source. if a check is held, it's because it's over 5k and it's verified before being deposited. Its for your protection. alot of time people get upset about not getting their check endorsed due to them not being able to get the monies and spend it wherever. WF ensures that any checks made out payable to the home owner and the bank will be credited to the home.

Wells Fargo lied to my wife and I. I lost my job and this caused us to fall behind on our payments. Unable to get approved for a modified plan, they decided to foreclose on us. BUT, they told us we could avoid foreclosure by submitting the necessary documents that would enable us to do a short sale instead. My house was foreclosed last week by Wells Fargo after admitting that they made a mistake. The house is still in the process of a short sale when their Trustee auctioned off my house. They told us to file a "request for rescission or redemption" to undo the sale which we did the following day. I will keep you posted for the outcome cause few days ago, i received an open letter on my mailbox from a broker to get ready for a smooth transition. Wish me luck cause i need it.

the bank that can't spell your name (apparently they can't read from passports), fails to update their system when you physically go down to the branch to change it and fails to send you your debit card. and worst of all? the helpline can't do anything and insists to call you by your wrong name. customer service should be about reaching out and making the customers feel comfortable. doubt anyone would be when they're not being addressed right and deliberately so.

While I was in San Diego for medical treatment, Wells Fargo Financial locked my wife and I out of our house and winterized the house.
I am current and paid up to date on my loan.
Our water was turned off leaving thousands of dollars of trees and plants without water. Anti freeze was put in our pipes. (It is 100 degrees plus in Arizona in August).
Our door lock was destroyed, and a lock box was put on our door.
It took two stress filled days to get our water and electricity turned back on.

I have been fighting for 2 years to keep my home w/Modification Plan, guess what - They are unable to help because we don't make as much money as we did when we started 15 years ago. They want our house for a short sale. I'll burn it to the ground before I let them have it. They've ruined my credit by letting me pay lower monthly payments while they "work things out" so now I'm 7K behind and WF has reported it to the credit agency so I won't be able to buy any other home.

I'm sorry I would like to say that every damn banks have problems like this. and honestly he should have been paying attention to the fine print when siging for the house. Also, you need to realise that home values have dropped every where. my parent's mortgage is pretty much fine however homes within the area that my parents are at have basically dropped due to the economy. It's his fault for not gettingg the house re-appraised and going into wells fargo in order to refinance.

I made the fatal mistake of entering the Wells Fargo home mortgage modification program. I tried to switch to a cheaper cable tv service over the weekend and was told my credit is so bad I would need to make a $450 NON REFUNDABLE deposit to take AT&T uverse. Yes they do suck. I tried to get a "Streamlined" home refinance starting Sept 2009. They told me that no expense to me and minimal paperwork they would have me refinanced in 6 to 8 weeks. Well, lie lie lie. After 8 weeks they demanded I pay for an appraisal (so much for no cost to me). Then, when they didn't like to appraisal (too high) they demanded ANOTHER appraisal, (also at my expense), a road maintenance agreement with Thomas R Palmer

Not only do they treat the consumers like crap, but they treat their employees like crap too. I did my best to help people when I was there but they just loved making people wait 4 months. FYI, no contract gives information about inflationary problems that cause home values to plummit!!! They can't get a loan on this house, because it no lnoger has the property value that is needed to pay the Wells Fargo loan off.
