But you're right, I'd say it's a huge disadvantage when we start hitting 250 ping already.

This game is summarized by saying that the global style of the LLL team is superior to the roaming style of the CLG team. Both teams played great. I really enjoyed this game although I'm disappointed CLG lost.

The bottom line is 3 globals>2 roamers. The 3 globals(teleports) gives the 3 main DPS characters the ability to lane the entire game (believe i saw them all tied at 200 cs at 27:21) as well as be a constant threat of gank which they utilized well on 3 occasions at least.

Go watch 1 of their 1st tourney, WCG 2010 vs AS, especially the start, 11:20 and 9:10 in pt.2. plus the multi dragon they tried to force early.

Plus watch the CEVO Finals. Both those games they were aggressive and forced their opponents into mistakes. Which allowed them to snowball pretty easily.

They are MUCH better when they are aggressive and force their opponents to make quick decisions, often time that leads to make mistakes.

EU is not necessarily better than USA. It's just that CLG has been so dominant, especially in the US, for so long that they've been following their own trends and not having to adapt. These EU teams are coming out with rather unconventional strategies and catching CLG by surprise.

I expect this and the previous game to be learning experiences for CLG.

It was quite obvious from the start, with LLL choosing TF + caitlyn + Fortify + 2 tele, that they were going to farm all game defensively and split push/ gank with a total of 3 tele when opportunity arises.

CLG switching lane a lot but not pulling off enough ganks put themselves too much behind early game.

Hopefully this will be the end of EU vs US arguments. Both are good and it really does depend on how they play on the day as skill wise, its essentially equal.

EU teams have shown with these recent rounds that, in fact, the competitive scene seems healthier on the EU servers.
