  • tomorrow will be once year since my Mom passed away, we played this at her funeral it was her wish, she was a very strong Catholic, I will never forget this song ,it is a beautiful song.

    I had one family who lost a baby request I do this song and then flow into Jesus Loves Me.

  • This is a beautiful Church Song. Our Chuch choir usually sings this at a Funeral Mass or a Wake Service for a mother/grandmother who has died. Don't ask me why the Pastor chooses it alot but he says its apporpriate for women... But it does bring tears to my eyes because they sung this for my grandma's wake service and this was the song i broke down and cried hard. :(

  • Thanks for your comment Mamamia. I recorded this on a CD for an organisation in Derry which takes the sick to Lourdes every year. I am looking forward to going back again in June.  I sing this hymn often in Lourdes..it is a great favourite.

  • Wow. My sister went to Lourdes...she says one of the amazing things that happens...is that you go in with a white gown and come out instantly dry...Is that true?

  • Well not quite. One's body is covered with a white WET sheet. After coming out of the bath one dries quickly. It is quite emotional.
