Sparring at Bairoa Gym Part 1 - Caguas, Puerto Rico

I've never heard of a town called "Caga- Aguas"....In enlish I believe it means "Shit -Water"....

haha, I had the same dream brotha - If you feel like Odysseus and your up for the journey, its possible - I had to track down the gym through a bunch people down there, a lot of dead ends - the gym doesn't have a phone but we ended up getting in contact with his (Cotto's) dad and he told us we could go down there and train - So I'm thinkin that you could definitely train, just bring your own gloves - but if your interested i can give you more information - kind of hard to find

yeah, definitely does not look like cotto. Cotto is massive compared to that guy. Maybe not as tall, but definitely "bigger."

The guy w/o a shirt (Daniel) was a pro who had just fought the week before this sparring session on "Friday night fights" and I think he lost - but the dude was pretty good - Yeah, neither really look like Cotto physically - But try to see if there are any similarities in their fighting style - they were trained by the same person - People argue that Cotto's uncle can only train one person and that is Cotto - Daniel's lost may be a testimony to that opinion

Do you know if they (Bairoa Gym) would let me train there if I came to Puerto Rico? I'm a new pro, a "convert" from pro Muay Thai to boxing.

haha, true, but Cotto was there that wednesday with his wife - the pros sparred M W and F - but this was before he really started training for his fight with Mosley
