all your efforts. I am learning Urdu on my own. I cannot understand most

of this Ghazal. Is there any way I can find out what the lyrics mean?

  • Nice ghazal sung by asad amanat ali

    I love him

  • Great singer. He is immortal in ourhearts

  • Ham to chiragh e awwale shab hain, awwal shab bujh jayenge..that became true aswell

  • i was reading Mumtaz mufti's book "Alakh Nagri" (keep in mind that mufti was a deep friend of Ibn-e-Insha) i that book he said that this was the last ghazal written by Insha G n last Tune composed by its musician n last song (ghazal infact) sung by the Amanat Ali khan. mufti said "Alfaz ki taseer hoti hai" mufti said iss ghazal kay alfaz ki taseer acchi nahi. its proved another time that son of Amanat ali sung it as his last song ...

  • ham tu charagh e awal shab ahain

    awal shab bugh jain gay

    tum be yaroo

    aakhar e shab tak

    deep se deep jalaye rakhnay

  • the song relates to his father and i think these are the emotions for a late father.......

  • Late Ibene Insha was admitted in London Hospital when Doctors told him that he had cancer and will not survive much longer then Ibene Insha wrote this imortal ghazal and sung by Ustaad Amanat Ali Khan sung it for the very first time. • asad amanat ali ia 3rd wonder of the music world

  • asad amanat ali is the 3rd wonder of the world

  • zabar 10

  • I have been extremely lucky to see his live concert. His was a unique and a purely melodic voice.

  • God is a true lover of music for he takes the best at too soon.

  • ALAASSSS.....

    Pakistan lost another great voice

MAY ALLAH REST HIM IN JANNAH...AAMEEN

  • my uncle talks abt him alot , khan saab asad and hamid ali both were invited on his friend wedding, he says that asad saab was inspiring , soft spoken and very nice personality . may allah bless him .

  • in khans ki genetic family problem hai really,

yeh ziyada lambi umer nahi patay.

  • They all Drink too much.............one main reason

  • then whole Europe must have very less average age..but they dont die even on 70.

its not a nice argument and at least no one shud write personal things on such platforms.we shd look our wrong things and good things in others.if someone drinks he ll b responsible, why we need to announce it??

    .

  • It's for others to learn lesson.......good idea to be announced.

  • this is our national symbol to publicise the weekness of others and never ever look on our ownself.

  • Rip magical voice.

  • also i think that alot of people were forced to follow the musical path of their families. it does not mean that these people were gifted or that the music field was for them.

  • he doesnt look well

  • not as good as his father, but hay, this guy did not get fair share of life we take so granted.

  • an other gazal by insha g( ye kis ne kaha tum cooch karo )i m looking 4 that if u have plzz post it

  • that ghazal is not by insha g it was reply written by another great poet Qateel shafai

  • This ghazal is by Ibn e Insha himself,, perhaps his last one, or most likely one of the last ones.

    This is not Qateel Shifai's.

  • hes not talking bout this ghazal..hes refering to its reply ghazal by Salman Alvi..dunno if poet was Qateel..have reservations.

  • Again and again we are missing him...He is still live in the depth of our heart and souls....No words....pehly mehfil k ghulam log thay iss ghazl say Asad Sashib nay mehfil ko apna ghulam bana lia...WAH WAH WAH...

  • washi ko sakoon say kiya matlab

no doubt he is with us all the time when ever we like to feel him. :)

  • HAZAROON SAAAL NARGIS APNI BAYNOORI PAY ROOTI HAI BARI MUSHKIL SAY PEDA HAI HOTA HAI CHAMAN MAY DEEDAWAR PAIDA....yeh shair bhi bohat chota hai ASAD SAHIB k liye....BASS ALLAH INN KI MAGFIRAT KARY..AMEEN.

  • wah wah..geo...kya baat ha...chek out da passion n feelings on his face at da end of da ghazal..when hez repeating "ab kooch karo"

  • this was written by Inhsa ji, it was his last ghazal, Ustad Amanat Ali Khan Sung, he Died, now his son Sung and he is dead, and if you have heard the last performance of Ustad Amanat Ali, he was absorbed while singing, and in it you can observe and feel urself....

  • RIP Ustad Amanat Ali Khan

  • very nice

it makes me very sad... writer singers(both father and son), all left this world so early.itni jaldi kooch kar gaye

Although Asad Amanat sung very nicely but in my thinking he could never sing like his father(for ustad amanat singing was just like talking) but if we compare this last one with previous ones of Asad Amanat, clearly in his last years he sung much better than youth.

  • bahi writer of this song is ibne insha urdu riter

  • Very beautiful song and same is the case with lyrics. Ibne insha is indeed great poet. But i did not know before abt his death. This is really a big loss of our classical music industry. I really feel very sorry at his death. Because i personally like his music and i came to know abt his death after watching this video.

  • thanks a lot for sharing with me and other friends

kabhi kabhi aisa hota hai kay comments kay liye proper words nahi miltay aur aaj be aisa hi ho raha hai. Bus itna kahna chahta hoon, Allah Asad ki maghfarat karay . Ameen

  • very nice, elegantly and dedicatedly sung.

  • really its very nice gazal dr bhukari i need his video gham tera hum ne paa liya

  • thanx.

well i neva saw him singing "ghum tera hum ne" live on tv though i have its audio.

  • Sajjad's tabla is very nice addition to this beautiful rendition from this young man.

On a different score, isn't it just lovely the way we subcontinentals have this tradition of sitting cross legged on floor while listening to such people! I think that provides a unique support and enjoyment for both the singer as well as the listener not possible with our traditional sitting arrangements in the west. You think so?
