Me & My wife were there. First time i ever saw a Jackson Guitar. That show was life changing for me. He had amazing control over the guitar. What ever emotion he was feeling when he was soloing came right out of the axe.
Dammmmm that makes me feel good inside,,, where has this been???I have waited for this for manny years kick ass great job getting it out there for all you see how it really was (Randy is #1 and always will be forever in my heart that way) Thank you Thank you thank you more than I can tell you!!!
when Ozzy screams,"Is evrybody getting high tonite!!??" Took me back to the 80`s.Today if a music star screamed that onstage he would be on Cnn,NBC,ABC,TMZ ,lol the whole lot, having to explain himself and how he wasnt promoting drug use. roflcopter
Randy Rhoads will always Rule the kids of today should hear him maybe god will bless us again Like someone like Randy Godbess him and his family we miss you!!!
GREAT VID!!!!!!! There is so little out there with Randy live. I was lucky enough to see them this tour, and all I can say is that Randy's guitar playing was incredible!! The power, the finesse, the stage presence...The man died WAY before his time, but he left such an enourmus impression on what was to become of heavy metal then and in the future that he is TRULY a guitar GOD.
I was not that lucky to be there ... but I read the book ... Randy is good ... I do not know if he was the best ... i was at too many concerts... but he's so fucking good
I was lucky enough to see this tour in Jan. 1982 in Salt lake city just a few months before the crash , Pretty cool that i just turned 16 -Oh yes those were the days !!!!!!!
@guitarvideosonline oh yea we enjoy very much...I mean this is the only hard rock worth listening to...theres nothing today but the saccharine, almost Musak-like crapola of U2,Nickelback,FooFighters etc...with the monotone vocals(no range) verses homonymous with the choruses(bad songwriting) and unremarkable instrumental breaks (zero musicianship)... long live 80`s hard rock!!
If he was still alive he would have been on the G3 Tours But then again he wanted to quit OZZY after this tour to go back UCLA and teach,if that was the case he would of probably ended up teaching at Berkly or GIT!!
Randy was coming into his own at this point....you can tell he was comfortable onstage....you can hear it....anyone who knows anything about playing live can hear it.....he was finally comfortable...what a freaking shame man,,,,,
GOD,Their onstage Chemestry is Just MAGICAL!!!!!!Still gets me Everytime years & years later,I Cant wait for Ozz to Put that RR Video Out!!!Nice Quality copt,a bit too bright, but Very nice.Ive gotten 4 or 5 different copies over the years & they all have Roughly the same dropouts. It is Rumored that whomever Filmed/Bootlegged that show intentionaly started 1/2 way through the 1st song & made the picture droppouts, but who knows???That would be cool to see the Intro w/Pyro ect,& the Band Jam.
I can't believe that far as anal as Sharon was about Ozzy's career that they don't have better quality material archived of Randy. Breaks my heart.

How come we have footage of the 40's, 60's, ect. And not enough footage of Randy? There should have been way more video on Randy.
