@jmb1911na It's been so long I don't remember what he was feeding through that gun. Maybe if I had loaded the mags I'd remember, lol. I'm guessing since this gun was designed for competitive bullseye shooting that Ed designed it to function 32 acp. But, man, I own a Benneli World Cup and feed lapua 32 sw long wadcutters through that. Bottom line, I really don't recall. I'll see if I can find out.
hey thanks!! but really, this gun was designed to reduce recoil and as we both know a .32 doesn't have that much of a kick. it's my hardball gun that really TRIES to set me back on my heels. it's all in our stance for us pistol competitors. all i know is that i love to shoot, no matter what that brings.
This gun was awesome to shoot. Very little recoil...and built on a .45 frame, so for competition it feels like my .45. And as you pointed out, you can shoot hollow points through it so it would make the round more effect for defense. As I recall the gunsmith was working on magazine issues as far as loads...so there would have to be slight modification. Dave Salyer is one of the best competition gunsmiths out there and has been working on custom guns for competitors for a number of years.
@misizjackson I'm assuming it's in .32 S&W long. Are you shooting WC's or HP's ? This would make a sweet International Center Fire gun! Is Mr. Salyer currently taking order?
@willywonka4340 Oh man, this was a couple of years ago. I don't recall whether we were shooting wad or HP's. However, I can find out from Dave. I have not heard that this gun is in production yet. We were shooting his prototype. I'll PM you when I get the details.
A custom 32 would be awesome for target and defense rather be behind a 45 for defense but a 60 grain 32 hollow point would be good to. probly easy to handle and empty.
32 SW long or 32 acp? Would be a sweet gun for the CF stage.

I've heard 32 is popular European pistol caliber. Lapua makes some nice 32 bullets.
