Not sure if you already fixed it, here's what I did on my end and I did not loose any videos.

press reset and power for 30sec (3 times)

plug to USB wait for 30mins to 1 hour.

No it wont delete tje vids on it. I pressed the reset button and i forgot to get the vids on the computer, but it didnt earse them

Get a paper clip, straighten it out. and insert it into the tripod screw point at the bottom then into the small hole and lightly press and hold for 10 to 15 seconds. This should reset the camera....hopefully....
