The one from his intro videos are from the TGFX rips. Available almost anywhere. It's from the narrative intro of Ys I and II, with Alan Oppenheimer. If you're interested, I can help you find it.
So.. is this a port of the remake versions called "Ys Complete" with enhanced graphics and audio? also, is this PS2 version in English? which one should i play PC or PS2?
Yes, this is a PS2 port of the PC game(s) of what began as "Eternal" and ended as "Complete".
There's no official english release. There's a "homebrew" patch for the PC versions of "Complete" and a PSP port is coming in english, but should be heavily cropped due to the lower resolution.
The DS version is more 'based' on these games than a real 'port' of them, but did get an english release.
If you prefer consoles like I do, get the PS2 version if you can run imports or wait for the PSP port.
This is just a port of a PC game and doesn't push the PS2 in anyway. Just like how other retro games collections on PS2 feature games as old as pre-NES.
With that said, the DS version was still heavily reworked into something different.
There's "Ys I & II: Eternal Story", "Ys Eternal", "Ys II Eternal", "Ys I & II Complete", "Ys I Complete", and "Ys II Complete", but OFFICIALLY there's NO "Eternal Complete" anything.
it's Ys not Y's :|

I guess this is the opening that the Nintendo DS is based on. Can't believe that little bugger has similar power as the PS2.
