  • Love your videos, they're great! :)

I totally did not see that there are more than three options on the custom button feature! I thought it was just for AEL, White Balance, and ND Filter. Thanks!

  • man you are my only hope. my camera, when recording a video in motion blurs herself. can you help me? and sorry for my bad ingres, I'm using google translator xP and nice vid

  • Have you ever considered getting the Sony NEX 5N?

  • @MrCameronBinkley - Yes. I'd love to have an NEX5N. I'd love an A77 even more. In the DSLR space, I'm keeping a keen eye on what Nikon/Canon/Sony are doing for new product releases. 2012 is going to be an interesting year for HDSLR's, I think.

  • G'day Michael. Happy New Year.

Thanks for this latest "How Too" video. Like all the preceding videos this one is VERY helpful.

  • Hey, great videos you make, keep up the great work. They are VERY helpful (:

  • Has this camera been taken off the market? I looked online for another one, and they seem to be alot less available than they were before. I was pretty set on getting this camera, but now im starting to think full DSLR might be the way to go. THANKS FOR THE GREAT VIDS by the way

  • @cturboaddict - As of today (1/22) they're "in stock" on the Stony store. They're getting hard to find with some retailers, some of which are listing them as 'discontinued'. Looks like supply is limited so maybe they're ramping down production. Better get yours while you can. :) Sure, they'll come up with a successor eventually--but the newer models don't always have all the same features as the previous model...

  • @cturboaddict Sony told me that they would begin normal shipments by February 6th. I read elsewhere that there were issues with production delays in Japan.

  • nice desk! Allen and Heath?

  • @jjlwis - Ah, yes...she's a beast but so sweet. It's a Toft ATB-24. I enjoy mixing 'in the box', to a certain extent--but I'm very tactile and control surfaces just don't do the same thing for me. There's nothing else like using real knobs and faders and the instant gratification they provide. Toft's boards rock. Worth having just for the EQ, imo. Really works well with outboard gear, too. :)

  • @BinaryCafe ah... I knew it looked familar! I worked on a Trident 80B long time ago.. great desk, but dirty pots... even though self cleaning.. i LOVED the EQ, a TRUE Sweep-able freq section.. even the metal red knobs... so sweet! they don't make em like they used to.

I hear the Toft and the Trident are very similar.. I assume the Toft has a fold back section on the right hand side yes?

  • Could you do a video showing how to change the shutter speed and what mode I need to be in to do so? I'm doing sports photography and need a fast chutter speed. Right now, the "Advanced Sports Mode" in Scene Mode is barely cutting it.

If you can't make a video, could you reply? Thanks man!
