It looks as though HBO will be making the film version of "Rain of Gold"! Yea! I have been waiting for years for this to happen and I hope everything goes well!
My best friend gave me Rain of Gold for my birthday back in '96. I read it and immediatly started it over again because i loved it so much. I read it once about every two years and I have bought it for friends and family. As a Mexican-American, I loved the book. Thank you Mr. Villasenor.
