to me it's the same as a netbook with a bit more potential. has the cheaper windows laptop price at $500 and comes with the apple reliability (yes they are reliable). they can use iwork (which is basically the same as ms office but cheaper) and has the ability to browse the web and use app games. can watch movies and play music and read ebooks. not sure what a cheap laptop can do that this can't. except hook up to a printer (as far as i know the ipad can't) and read discs. tell me if I'm wrong.

There is a very simple reason why this thing doesn't have a usb port.

If you had one, you could connect to the internet with a simple (and cheap) usb mobile device. Instead you need to pay $130 more.

Also you could have some extra storage on your usb key. Instead, they want you to pay $200 more to upgrade from 16gb to 64gb.
