I don't understand this urge, by inexperienced acappella arrangers, to add a bunch of seventh chords, and a bunch of suspensions just for the sake of making the arrangement sound more complex. In this case, you messed with this traditional song way too much, and you lost the sound that carries its true meaning. What's the point of adding random accidentals? Can't you see that your harmonic progression doesn't make sense?
