We will all have to create jobs for ourselves. Errands for the elderly. Get a Shovel and knock on doors. Barter or better yet set up a shop in a garage.
In February it was 8.1% unemployment. It's now September and it's at 10% it took around 7 months for it to go to 10%. I haven't had a job in over a year. I have just recently decided to abandon my career and go into retail or any thing that will feed me. I feel bad for all those young people that are in college and they really have nothing to look forward to now.
Folks, here's how to guage the REAL economy.
1. Look at the percentage of billboards used OUTSIDE towns. If you see many public service ads, the economy is horrible.
2. Look at the THICKNESS of newspapers. If extremely thin, the economy is horrible.
3. Look at the parking lots of Malls. If not filled over 20%, the economy is horrible.
4. Look at the number of diners inside a truck stop cafe. If not 80% filled during their normal rush hours, the economy is horrible.
Things look bad. Real bad
