@dreamrealitysometime they do est fish most love fish. But sometimes you find a turtle that will live with them if you get fish that are close to the same size as the turtle they stand a better chance.

Awesome setup! And I agree with a few of the comments below that this tank is perfect. Not one flaw! haha I'd like to try out sand on my turtles tank some day but I want to wait untill I get a bigger tank. You wouldn't think that these guys are so expensive! :)

@theshaungawler yes when I add new water I do cause I have city water that's full of chemicals. I use something like reptisafe but in bulk. Other then that I do not use chemicals.

I bought one turtle.

Then i told my mom he looked lonley.

so my mom bought me another one.

Then we got another bigger aquarium.

So i told my mom..

we need more turtles our tank looks empty.

and we bought two adult red ear sliders.

And now there living happily. And we now have an outside pond for them to

play in. c:

Nope he might from time to time pick up one of the tiny pebbles but spits it right back out. The fish on the other hand actually sift through the sand. They take in a mouth full and spit it out over and over again. Put Donnie will dig in it. He seems to enjoy it. It was a pain to clean though

I have always had success with musks with sliders. It could be worth a shot if you wanted to get him a friend.
