You do know that the Clear plastic on the Ear piece Opens so that Condensation doesn't build up. Any time you're not in game and just sitting at your Desktop talking to Team mates on Vent TS or Mumble just pop them open and Boom no more Condensation build up.
The build quality and specs for the Physco is that of a old-generation headset with just a different look/design.
The actual technology involved in making this is just putting the driver location in a different spot. The top of your head.
When clearly a G35 and a Siberia V2 have a surround sound driver system which is implemented around your ear. Physco is basically trying to do the same but they separated it to the top of your head. Marketing scheme!!!
For the obvious reasons that Physco is a brand new company trying to get into the mainstream business with gamers. Any good gamer who wants 'quality' equipment with exceptional performance is either Steelseries or for more design, Razer.
If you noticed with the Physco trailer, they're comparing their product to a normal standard headset. The ones you buy @ Walmart..
If they compared with a quality headset, Siberia V2, for example..
What is wrong with you people, SENNHEISER PC 360 G4ME fucks this headset in the @ss, having said that if i saw you at an internet cafe with these on i would mistaken you for mega man's boyfriend and kick you in the head.
@thatblackdude Hes right... they show it in some review video that the plastic covers pop open when you push one side so you can vent or just to hear someone talking whithout taking them off
@thatblackdude please learn how to use your headphones before you review, you surely havent known about the ventilation function of the plastic things and well just let the mic be then, get an external one like the blue yeti microphone
I like the 3,5mm wires instead of the common USB-connector for 5.1 headphones cause that way you can use your own hardware soundcard instead of using drivers to produce the 5.1 sound.
Thanks for the Review these are rare lol I think you are the only person who did one and isn't getting paid for it. It's between these psyko 5.1's for $300 vs the Tritton ax pro for $170.00.
They do cost a lot, and on top of that shipping internationally is 100$.
I bought it because I like the idea of having surround sound without having my walls covered with cables and speakers, and also because they seem to have some interesting engineering put in to it.
I'm hoping (for them) that it does what they say it does, because I intend on posting a video review myself.
youy crazy . they cost to much thats y no one is buying it. they look good but the tritton ax pro also looks good i bought it 170 dollars . dam it they dont work good fo pc but they work ggod for ps3 and 360
thats y i dont know about this ones i dont want to make the same mistakethey go for 300 bucks.
i don know.. im confuse . i hace the tritton ax pro an tge suck for pc , tge only good for ps3 , they dont work good with vista 64bit , i hve the xfi and they just dont soun right . im 32 i play game at night and im looking to get the best sorround sound headphones . this looks good bu just one riview . so i dont know i dont want to make the same mistake ....check my pc rig.....
If I buy a set now, and you later revise the mic, will you ship a new mic out to previous customers? or will it only be for future buyers? It really seems like the mic is just an afterthought... but the mic is INTEGRAL to online gaming, especially for anyone even considering to buy such a highend item.
Thankyou. Hopefully Psyko Responds. I'm dumping $1500 into a new rig, and these headphones and 2 more monitors would put me over the top... But I don't know if I can sacrifice good quality team communication so easily. Can you upload a video testing the mics quality, and answer if there is any feedback or vibration transmitted from the subs to the mic? The mic seems to almost plug into the sub speaker, or is extremely close to it. With subs turned up I could see it becoming a problem 4 the mic.
Hey, I got my psyko 5.1 roughly 3 weeks ago. I would like to know if you ran into the same problems as I did. I've noticed cracks started to forming on the black rim on the red X shaped flexible joints. And yesterday I noticed a major crack on top of one of the flex joint. I think it was due to the over stiffness on the supposely flexible joints and resulted in over stressing the unflexible part.
I'm trying to decide if this is a design flaw or I just have a defective set.
luckily i have no cracks but i try to ippen them up super slow and think before i do anything lol. i spent alot of money you know but i would call them
I was wondering what real consumers thought of this headset, thanks for reviewing it! Is the directional audio really that much better than other "5.1" headsets? Thanks!

they wouldn't cause V2 obviously wins.

Can you elaborate on why they went bad? I'm one click away from buying a pair and would like any input you can offer.
jagermorder 2 years ago
they are releasing a new version in march to fix problems in the past
1) mic falls out
2) cups keep heat in and are not vented so your body heat causes water on the plastic
3) heavy as fuck
right now im using my g35's from logitech till it comes out
thatblackdude 2 years ago
u can pop open the clear covers i believe. in order to vent

Thanks for the great review of our headphones, we're working on a mic fix that we plan to distribute.
And for the ear caps condensing, open the flaps and you'll be able to keep your ears cool and vented
