What is black? Black Filipino? what the heck! Or is the "black" a religious identity, because what if you are mixed, and have light, red or dark skin and don't even consider yourself a race at all?

The term black as in black people, in the US .usually means African americans or maybe sometimes refers to Africans.I call myself Asian , but I had read arugments that race does not exist.

Don't listen to the criticism you get about the level of your English. I think your English is outstandingly good, considering it is your second language, and that you have spent most of your life there in Korea. I salute you, for being yourself and dating whoever you want to, in spite of the cultural pressures you face. Race is not an important issue, contrary to what a lot of people would have you believe. Racism, against any race, is just plain wrong. I consider myself lucky to have friends from a very wide range of racial groups, and mixed couples are the norm around me, rather than the exception. the truth of the matter is that whenever something is done out of the norm, no matter how kind, right or virtuos that act maybe, there will always be ignorant people who ridicule others cause they dont want to accept others points of view.
