The Camel and Trek versions of the Disco are hand made, not like the factory one this guy is driving...and they never jump the Disco because it weighs to much...shit breaks when you come down on that frame
As for those camel toerophy vids, the thing they don't show you is the complete overhauls those trucks went through every night to keep them running lol!
Don't worry guy's the only thing that can breake here is that skiny driver HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH NOT THE DISCO..... Discoverys born to cross the entire planet men.................
Awesome video!!! Its no different then seeing what your street rod will do by rappin it out to 6000 or more just for that rush. This is built for heavy duty "stock from the factory" Off Roading. Rock on, love to see what they can do. On another note though, I sure hope your seat belt was working good at 53 sec. if not I'm thinking you might of took a bite out of the steering wheel and where that bag went befor your last big jump. Seems to be edited out. Liked to have seen that.
Why buy a landy if you're not going to enjoy it?, they were'nt built like tanks just to cruise mall parking lots or go to soccer practice as most of them are being used for!, enjoy your disco man, ignore the profilers who buy em to showoff
@flenny i agree with you flenny.. i have a 97 TDI300 disco... only had it a few months, but i use it off road as much as possible.. a lot of people are 2 scared to get em dirty. but i bought a four wheel dive, to go four wheel driving, and enjoy my beautiful country in the only way possible. in a 4WD. sure i dont wanna break it, but it dont mean im gonna leave it in the shed,. if it breaks while us using it for what it was made, then so be it. ill just fix it, and keep enjoying it..
all very well sayin camel trophy discos drive harder but they had stronger chassis than standard production discos and all the other shiny stuff but seriously mate good video u have a really nice disco look after
do me a favor, take a look at "Land Rover Camel Trophy Commerical" & "land rover discovery ad camel trophy" under related videos to your right. go on, i'll wait.
notice any similarities? yes, they all depict Land Rovers driving in the same style as in this video. and those are actual Land Rover commercials, put together from clips from Camel Trophy and Trek events over the years. so like i said earlier, take it easy and enjoy!
one last thing; it's "you're", not "your". douchebag.
guys, take it easy! find me ONE camel trophy video where they don't drive harder than this. these trucks aren't made out of eggshells you know. they can take it. and if something should break, it can be fixed. so no worries. =)
@drivenbydiscovery Great stuff, but you have to admit that landing was a bit harsh. When your 4-5 days away in the bush, trust me it cant always be fixed... Thanks for the vid!
I like your style. Drive em hard and give em hell. Nice video. Thumbs up from Australia.
