The Eurofigther have 2 Engines EJ200 and the SSC Bloodhaound have 1 engine EJ200 and the Engine V-12 it´s Nothing for a 2 Engines EJ200 of Plane and if the Bloodhound run vs SR-71 Blackbird the Bloodhound will lose.

@harithyaz Ehm. Jet dose have some type of friction called air resistance and/or drag. And, the eurofighter is fast but just saying its going to beat a car isn't really a reason why. And 2 reasons is insufficient really. 5 is reasonable, 3 is generous.

@harithyaz at low alttitudes the car would win, jets are designed to hit their top speed in much thinner air, so higher alltitude, the air at ground level is thick so great for manoeuvring but not so great for top speed. and 1 a jet does experience friction but with the air not with the ground its just called air resistance/drag and 2. i believe its "euro fighter has got to be one of the fastest planes..." the allied forces/ EU has one of the fastest planes in the world

@twistedyogert america are tryin at the moment, along with australia. america has 2 teams, the north american eagle which is a f104 starfighter with wheels, and fosset lsr. the australian team is called the aussie invader and their car looks more promising than the americans again there is more info on bloodhounds site about their competition. @sedanman15 the place won't win the air is too thick at ground level to allow the plane to do more than mach 1 if the plane were at say 40,000 feet it would win as it is capable of 1400 mph but then again put the car at 40,000 feet it would still win so either way on a level playing field the car would still win, having more power, being lighter and having a slicker aero package
