Those main things of fasting abstaining from sex and alcohol can be practicable by people. I accomplished all three when I was younger. I fasted daily for years, never drank and was a virgin until I was married. It can be done. But what I have realized is that it is unnecessary. Those main things of fasting abstaining from sex and alcohol can be practicable by people. I accomplished all three when I was younger. I fasted daily for years, never drank and was a virgin until I was married. It can be done. But what I have realized is that it is unnecessary. For your own health you should eat in a balanced healthy way all the time, not just during ramadan. not drinking is best for your body and health and mind. plus you do stupid things when you're drunk....

Subhanallah! I always loved this Nasheed! It's one of my very first Nasheeds i fell inlove with, Mansha Allah... as i became more familliar with Islamic Nasheeds. And i always wondered what it meant, what the lyrics were actually saying... and now i love it even more!!!! Jazakul Allahu Kair!

We pray to the one true God without partners to get away from the whispers of the Satan. We are supposed to be God concious 24/7. We do good deeds to earn a place in heaven. We fear God. It's funny how they say that we worship the devil and a moon God. We worship a stone in the desert. That we are Mohammadans. That we do not believe in Jesus ( pbuh). That we want to conquer the world. That muslim armies have taken over countries by the sword. That we treat women like dirt. That we have are arrogant.

Satan doesn't inspire goodness. The prophet (pbuh) said he was first scared that he may be possessed, but he soon realised he wasn't and those around him also were sure he wasn't. Such is the gravity of God's word, even God's own messenger was terrified upon the first revelation.
Satan doesn't inspire forgiveness, mercy, humblesness, charity, kindness and respect for the poor, needy, orphaned and destitute, a just legal system, hope for ALL humanity ...all of which the Holy Quran does.
