I LOVE hard rock, but I still don't get heavy metal.

@ricochetrob I love Iron Maiden, deffinently one of my favorites. Other good Heavy Meatl bands include Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Metallica, Scorpions, Led Zeppelin (more or less), Mötley Crüe, Megadeth is alright, and Deep Purple (more or less).

But those are just some of my favorites.

@TheZeppelin1995 Thanks! I'm a big fan of all of those, except I need to re-educate myself on Scorpions, Megadeth and Deep Purple. Also, I've got Iron Maiden at the bottom of that list; not that they're bad, I just think the others are much better. And, I kind of consider several of those to be Hard Rock and not Metal - at least that's how I categorize them in my mp3 folders.
