I am posting a picture of the finished clasp. I am not sure what you are asking.
You can attache the clasp with a jump ring or bend out the last coil and attache the jump ring or attach the beading wire with crimp beads. Let me know if I can make another video to help you learn. I am new at making videos so I am not sure I did it correctly. There are many videos on the net for making clasps.
Not sure what the Coil end is for..Which end is fastenened to the end of the necklace? I Just make a simple single hook..with a loop to fasten on the end the the chain or neck cord..and a small loop at the other end of the loop so it wont catch on anything .simple but works well..
@alliecat1941 the coil is just a fancy way of making the clasp. :) Oh and I now hammer the coil to strengthen and the coil does not catch on anything I also make simple clasp as you mention above :) cheers and happy creating.

Not sure how you attach that big coil to the end of a necklace? Isn't it going to stick out?
Do you fit a jump ring through the centre, or around the base? Sorry, I don't see how it works.

@LittleOldGHLady I could not post a picture here but I can explain by video if you need me to :) :)
Oh and the jump ring goes on the last coil and pull down the last coil and bend out.
I have progressed a lot since this video. I need to make a new one to add to this. Hammering the clasp also adds strength.

THe coil end attaches to the end of the necklace. It is just a fancy clasp.
