@DefaultBot I'm sure you've solved your problem by now, but just so everyone else knows: It's stupidly easy to open a combination lock by feeling for the right digits, and no tools are needed. It literally only takes seconds. Never use one.

all you have to do is hold each side of the thing with the lock in the center and each side in your hands twist the opposite direction one from the other back and forth, and it will break open. i am a very small lady with not strong hands and arms and i can open these without any tools.

I got my bike stolen today IN MY APPARTEMENT and used a chain-lock with key im so pissed, I never experienced a theft so i wasnt really careful, but does that allow YOU to steal it??? If only I could spot my bike on the streets, I would slick the thiefs open slowly and disappear.. even leave the bike behind... fucking thief dick-lickers cant bear to see people own things!

Obviously you shouldn't use a cable lock, they can be cut with ease. Kryptonite locks are the best.
