When I first saw this Vid I thought that it might be an slight optical illusion caused by "Forced Perspective" or "Camera Spacial Shortening"...but after watching the HD version of the movie "Always" in slo-mo it is clear that the Propwash and Bow Wave from the PBY actually moves the boat.

That is such a great scene from an otherwise so-so movie.

The pilot of that PBY didn't pull up until the last moment.

He almost painted those guys hats red.
