These were incredible buildings, i always love the two big ghosts in the skyline, they completed the whole look of manhattan!

It's still hard to imagine that a few floors out, force this building to collapse! A specially as they still stand so strong after the impacts, something was wrong on this day! :(

i would really be so greatfull to see the twin towers II stand again in 2011 it be so assume to take my first step in the lobby of twin towers II so why would people walk in a modern day tower that has noting to do with the world trade center i was so excited that they were actually going to rebuild twintowers again till back staber mayor Bloomberg showed up

There is a tower in Tulsa that is calked The Lost Twin. Which is a tower that is exactly half the size of the WTC in every way. It was built by the same architect. Look up BOk building in Tulsa on google for pictures.

Beautiful Skyscrapers.1:25 shows how well steel those towers were built. A Steel network grid with 47 Central support columns and over 200 surrounding columns. The Architects for the buildings had built them to withstand the impact of a Boeing 707 or in their words "multiple impacts" from jet-liners. They did this in mind of a foggy July morning,1945 a U.S B2 Bomber was Accidentally flown into the 79th floor of the Empire State Building. Fires spread over several floors. It still stands today...

@SkylinesHD, we are. They are building a memorial, and in the footprints, waterfalls with the names of every victim engraved in bronze. and a 1776 ft tower, and several other things. its going to be beautiful, and they are making the core and all as safe as possible

I've seen them in person (not right up close) when visiting Manhattan in the early-mid nineties (can't remember which year, church trip), and I just can't imagine a New York/Manhattan skyline without them. Even now, ten years later.
