What I find interesting is that you only see younger people doing these "taste tests" and referring to the current as the "original". Thing is, the newer generation doesn't know what it was like to have had the original MD. To us older ones who grew up drinking the real original Dew the "Throwback" was a welcome treat. It is what Dew is suppose to taste like. I loved it when I was younger but I won't drink the crap that it is now.
I like the throwback. I don't like the aftertaste of the "other" Mountain Dew. It's a lingering funk in the back of my throat. That could just be gingivitis though.

i finally decided to give the throw back a try and i can definitely say without a doubt it lacks the body that the dew they normally sell have also since i'm starting to get a headache i will add that the caffein content must be off or different although i will not say its a bad taste its just not as tasteful as the current formula it almost taste like diet to me .....in my opinion.
@Grimware wow really im 13 right now and i love MTN DEW and hopefully they come back with the pitch black on halloween or even the 3 Dewmocracy flavors: Supernova,Voltage,and of course Revolution also they came out with new flavors today called:Whiteout,Typhoon,and Distortion :]

Throw Back taste like really sweet Mtn Dew with more of an Orange Juice taste to it.....I liked it, but honestly prefer regular Dew
