I don't get why people say the interior is dated. Analog dials are dated. The interior is minimalistic because the car is meant to be driven, not for fiddling with stuff on the dash.

The size issue is nonsense. I am the same size as the reviewer (6"2" and 240lbs) and I fit PERFECTLY in mine! My knees do NOT hit the steering wheel and while it is awkward to get in and out, I never do it with the top up because I never drive it with the top up -- that is what my SUV is for. Anybody who buys this as their only car is a fool.

The S2K is not made for getting groceries or stuffing food into your face... it is made for racing. I love my 04 s2k. It's a 4 cylinder with naturally aspirated 240 horsepower. The handling is perfect! If you're not use to rwd then of course you're going to fish tail. After your first sharp turn you learn a lesson. Oh and the miata is a pos... it only has 150-170 hp now that is a b**** car.

Got my 2008 s2000 just this week. Yes, it is small. I am 5'11" and the car fits like an Italian shoe. I am OK with that because I bought the car because I like sports cars and not huge overweight sedans. Also, there are other cars that have more performance and are more comfortable, but are more expensive (cost and maintenance). I like a car that is affordable, easy to maintain, quick, fun to drive, reliable, and beautiful. Honda seems to have these in spades. The S2000 is a toy; a 2nd car.

I have long legs 35" and short torso. The leg room is short for me, but headroom is fine. My brother has a s2000 as well and is just over 6' and is 55lbs heavier. He is ok with it. Go sit in it and see if it fits. Goodluck. You will love the car if it works for you.
