I am likin' this voice actress! She should be the new voice of Amy Rose in the Sonic the Hedgehog games! Her voice would be perfect for Amy, and she doesn't need to sound anything like Jennifer Doulliard or Lisa Ortiz, since her voice is great on its own merits. She'll still have to pitch up her voice and speak a little faster to sound like Amy would, but still, it could work. I can imagine Hynden yelling "Sonnnnniiiiic!" in an overly joyful voice, when Amy is chasing Sonic!

@crumpton4 SEGA hasn't confirmed this. Still, Hynden would make for an excellent Amy Rose. Voicing characters like Starfire, Penny Sanchez, and Princess Bubblegum shows that she is perfect for the new voice of Sonic's love interest. If Roger Craig Smith is the successor to Jason Anthony Griffith, then Hynden Walch should be the successor to Lisa Ortiz.

I was thinking she could also voice Tikal the Echidna and Maria Robotnik, although Tikal might not appear again unless she cameos, and Maria might never appear again since Shadow decided to hell with his past at the end of the video game Shadow the Hedgehog. Perhaps Hynden could voice the next new female partner of Sonic.
