I wound up transcribing my own version from the piano version of the theme that is not in the game (I believe it's the last track on the official soundtrack). I think the chords and more artistic use of timing from that version make it sound much more musical.

So you did it all by ear?.. respect dude.. all song i learn are usually done by ear.. its pretty damn easy and it feels much better when you finally get the song finished knowing that you've done it all yourself
