we used to go there when i was a kid for braais on the beach
i love oslo beach
thank you thank you for the people who tried to save the shark. some people would call that dangerous and say what if the shark bit you etc, but trust me, the only thing that shark wanted to do was survive at that point. biting a person was the last thing on its mind. i'll bet in some way beyond our comprehension it will remember and appreciate what those people did
WOW! first time i have ever seen stuff like that, good thing u guys sarted recording ....you would have seen us border boys in the backround trying to catch another one XD
the shark was actually a zambezi. It got stranded on the ledge with 2 other duskies after a big swell pushed them over while they were feeding on a small pocket of sards that had been pushed up against the rocks. The duskies managed to get back off the ledge but the zambi kept rolling closer to shore and would have probably died. the shark eventually swam off slowely after we got it through a gap in the reef
good dudes.

those fish were all beasts and in a very foul spot. not one was landed. in 2 days we estimated conservatively 150 bites on 1 point with 8 fish landed
