I'm afraid I couldn't use this method using Mike in normal; Shredder was simply too speedy. So, I waited for him to throw his freeze rays or whatever up in the air and then dash into him. Takes longer but I found it effective.

I know its a small thing but the first 4 turtles games were called "teenage mutant HERO turtles" not ninja

Thats Because in Europe,they couldn't use the word ninja due to censorship,so the changed it to "Hero Turtles".Apparently whatever version of the games you have are European.

Stupid fucking video game physics. Much like Don, I would have never guessed that Mike's special attack goes right through the shrinking blobs that shredder throws. All those years of playing I did it the hard way by standing to the upper left or right of shredder and making a split second judgement of whether or not to go in to attack.

Yeh, it seems easy, but only if you're using Mikey or Don. It's harder with Leo, and reeeeeal hard with Raph.

Your half right, I did make a mistake but it's spelled Michaelangelo. (it's written in the intro when the game starts) That's why I call him Mike most of the time lol

No, see, they changed the spelling in 2001, because when they first started the comic, and accidently added an extra "a". So in the new series and the newer comics, it's spelled that way, as that's actually how the artist's name was spelled.
