LOL. Seeing the earth from space was considered absurd. Walking on the moon - impossible! Nuclear submarines/electricity/radar/a means to talk to someone in another country by using a small case the size of a cigarrette case - preposperous.....

so what he's saying is that people deliberately "pick" or have some "intelligence" "pick" lousy parents who physically abuse their kids so the kids can learn a "life lesson". what about sexual abuse of kids? what "lessons" are the kids supposed to be learning from this form of abuse? this stuff is just as bad as any more "traditional" organized superstition - all non sense.

@qwyzl - It's karma for having a past life where you yourself were the abuser. You go back and think "Was I really like that?! I need to experience that for myself." And there you are, experiencing it for yourself. You've seen both sides of the situation, and that's how you learn.

Maybe you're calling it traditional organized superstition because you lack context or don't fully understand the concepts being conveyed? If you just rush to a conclusion, of course anyone would say that

@ShadowTigerZC what about mental illness, physical deformities? & it's an insulting thing 2 tell people who have been traumatized by abuse of the worst kind that it's all their own fault be cause in a past life - which is UNPROVEN & most likely pure fantasy -they did the same 2 some other child. do you not see what a twisted thing that is 2 say 2 people? your beliefs are in deed just as bad as those of more "traditional" institutions. superstition must be gotten rid of. it's utter garbage.
