The theme of the books is inheritance. Paolini said that if you think about what Eragon gets/inherits in the you may be able to figure it out. Eldunari doesn't fit. What Eragon does inhertir is the role of elder/master dragon rider since Oromis has died.

Ebrithil, meaning master, will be the name of the fourth book.

@36trooper I think it will be Empire. I think somewhere i dont remember where that Paolini said Brisingr was originall gonna be called Empire. And eragon could inherit the empire

@Inheritance41Park CP said it would be something Eragon will get as a right of inheritance. In the books Eragon said he does not want to rule and take the throne from Galbatorix. Empire doesn't seem like a likely choice.

Can anyone tell me why he let the Eragon Movie exist? Did he get screwed out of the making of the movie, or did he not care that the movie completly ruined the story? =/

I watched the last bit and yah, it was he really diden't care, he just signed the movie over to them like a fool, and instead of showing his true affection for his creation like J.K Rowling did, he just sold it to them for the cash, and pretty much stamped a Fuck You on the forehead of his fans that wanted to see his awsome story potrayed properly on the big screen. Sad day. =/

@Alastarr1 at the time the movie was made he was very young and he also didnt have the clout that JKR did, of course thats just a speculation, he might not have cared but honestly it doesnt matter. With the detail of the book, any movie would have been disappointing just like with almost any other movie based off a book.

@jjarviscky1 Yes but come on, at least some of them do mediocre jobs, did you SEE what they did to Angela in the Movie? They went so far beyond dissipointing, they changed, with NO exageration, EASILY 85% of the book, the WHOLE book, not just the story or minor events, but damn near EVERYTHING about it. Me, who very much enjoyed Harry Potter, and enjoyed the movies, as well as several others. I guess I was just hopeing for the same sort've work and dedication that was put into the HP series.

@amoogashane it does but odly enough Eldest has been out for somewhere around 3 years when this vid was posted if i remember correctly. and like the person above stated three seperate domains were bought out the same day 3 months before Brisingr was released and based off the plot of the third book and how it ends Elundari would be a very fitting name

the domains "eldunari.com, .org, and .net" were all purchased on the same day by a person who paid extra to have the name remain private. Eldunari is a word made up by paolini and first appeared in Brisingr. The domains were purchased on the same day 3 months before brisingr's release. This adds a bit more to the rumors about that being the name of the final book. The slip of the tongue certainly supports that as well.

@Primogen18 the name of the book is Inheritance. It is official on paolini's website now. Perhaps he planned on calling eldunari for a while. the release date of Inheritance is november 8th!!!

Despite what others have said, I really do like Christopher Paolini. Having begun this at age 14-15, I feel like he is a creative person who pursued something few others can. As for arrogant, I'm not seeing it. I see a writer who really enjoys sharing his passion with other people. It's exciting for him, and I'm sure most people would agree that it's a very exciting thing to be able to share your creation, your baby, with people who come to love it as well.

he doesn't really answer the kid at 3:05's question - the kid asked about if he was portraying any of his personal beliefs through the book, and instead he talked about the beliefs of his characters in the book.
