great tutorial but i have a question:

i have one external HDD 1TB with 3 partitions on it (X,Y,Z)

and i wanted multiman to load the files of (Y) but it loaded X then i changed the drive letter of Y to M cause it comes before X but i loaded X again how can i fix it?

the only things different are i copied the usb config data with usb but containing my external hard disk. after copied to the ps3 i plugged in my ext hard disk...but...it just said "please wait" n one more thing, mine is above 1.6, so i didn't install that one, will that be a problem?

u know what sucks about this, is that you cant play new games! you can only play games that came out before 3.55. At least thats what im told. If im wrong please tell me. Cuz as far as i know there is NO way to play upcoming backups of ps3 games.

Umm dude, can you make a video with the newest MultiMAN version (2.10) ? I think that one has full NTFS support, right ? Which means you can use it like a FAT32 HDD. Emuilate games from it ,etc. Without having to split them to fit into FAT32 format.

I also heard about big cache scripting or something which allows you to emulate split games from a FAT32 HDD without having to copy them into your Internal HDD. Do you have any idea ?? :S

Newest Multiman has the same support has the first one with NTFS support, and you still can not play games from the ntfs drive.

When you cach a file from external, it takes the files that are seperated and puts them together on your internal, so it still uses space

You have to format your USB to FAT32 using your computer, insert your USB, go to MY COMPUTER --> right click on the USB, click format and chose FAT 32 as formattype.

I have not been able to get this to work with any of my external drives, but was able to with a thumb drive. It is driving me insane why it wont load up, I have used one partition as well as multiple partitions. I have edited the USB.cfg file like 6,000 times and have uploaded through multiman as well as ftp. All of them are seen fine when fat32, not sure what else to do...

i have only tried playing ratchet and clank crack in time backup on my ps3 so far but it freezes after 5-15min of loading it on multiman once it even freezed before i got to open it? but when im playing it with disc it works just fine.. anybody have similar problem? or maybe its just ratchet and clank? maybe other games wouldn't freeze? let me know what you think!

The drive while going into NTFS Mode switches off and it turns on if I quit from NTFS mode.

when you plug it into your pc does an exe program pop up asking you to install the WD software, most external hard drives not longer come with cd software, the software is on a virtual drive on the Hdd, if thats the case then you need to change something
