No , it would have just blown them. If you check the other vids I did turn the gain up but with a lower tuning.

it dosnt matter if the bass knob is half way and there knockin hella hard, if u turn the bass knob up any further it will just sound like distorted

yeah I have my LPF @ ~50Hz w/-12db slope no SSF 1cuft box tuned to 30hz cadence sqa-1 (700w rms @ 2ohm) turned up about halfway and I get alot of mechanical noise on that one note....only on that song too...so when i do play it i have to adjust everything down just to enjoy it..lol

I Love them. Usually when I buy subs, I'm looking into new subs soon after I install them. But Im pretty happy with these. Havent even thought of buying new subs...yet :D
