@ sniperskill14"capo" comes from capodastro - it's an object that holds togheter all the guitar strings rising their sound and leaving it with a more armonic acoustic. It is very used in allmost 80% of guitar songs. Oh, and i've seen some coments that it might be expensive. Some of them can reach even 100$ but to be honest i'm using one wich i bought a cuple of years ago for 6$ ... and it's still workin' just fine. So don't complain about the price anymore.

alright dudes, first off you dont have to have the exact strum pattern as him, or as the song. As long as you feel the song in your rhythm it will sound awsome guaranteed. Second, great tutorial, however i dont really think you need a capo for this song (anyway thats only my opinion). Third off, you really do look like Dane Cook ;).

Capo is a wonderful device. You won't use it on every song you learn but its a wonderful item to use if you ever play with a beautiful girl who has a voice a little higher than you usually play *wink*

Its kinda because you should be able to figure it out pretty easily based on watching it and knowing musical meter. Just count 1&2&3&4& and pay attention when its going up and down. If you need to, write down the direction each time on a piece of paper. Its easy on these acoustic videos, its harder when listening to a song that might have many more instruments, several guitars, and such.
