  • I wish this played when you are using Zero against Galactus in UMvC3...

  • That was an epic battle!

  • Comment removed

  • Dr Weil-"I am the Devil!"

Me-Understatement. I bet when someone as monstrous like you is in Hell, the Devil hides in a corner.

  • Sooooooo much epicness for an E for Everyone game!!!!

  • Personally,I liked how they made Weil.It snot like he was a Wily clone, but a more sadistic and malicious scientist. He's an unabashed monster who has an epic feel.Though,I still think he could've had a bit more dimension. My idea was that he started out with noble intentions way back in the Elf Wars, however said wars warped and hardened him into the devil we know today. But at least we got a chilling threat to fear and love to hate

  • You know, in all honesty, I always think that Capcom has very weak story plot. In fact, they don't seem to break away from the whole evil man out to take over the world with the maniacal laugh. It gets old. I like Zero though. It's just that they need to stop being lazy with it all. Criticize me if you want, that's just how I feel.

  • @Ethynswordmaster13 Not much for originality yes, but they sure know how to do what they do. Most intestine video game moment I've had in years.

  • Zero is like Yuri from ToV. They are somewhat anti-hero when they ARE the heroes.

  • Zero still isn't dead, just remade int Model Z. It still has his memories and personality, although Model Z went down with the Ouroboros and vanished.

  • R.I.P zero we will remember u always (except if you r person who ONLY plays X series, then curse u)

  • charge laser......................... BOOM!!!!!

  • Zero is so bad ass, even if in this game looks a little bit childish compared to the previous megaman x versions, he still kicks ass. I woudnt mind if David Hayter voiced him.

  • @MrDanteaguilar Childish? i think Zeros look in this game is better. less bulky.

  • Dr Weil is FIRING HIS LAZAH !!!!!

  • Man i have been minding Model W is ragnarok pieces with the rests of weil so Ourobros shoudnt be called model R: Model Ragnarok cause if you look very good it remembers ragnarok but have a hole on the middle

  • This is a fantastic theme. It truly captures the essence this final epic battle. Still, I can't help but wonder... why is it longer than 120 seconds?

  • @BurningNinjaZ Because until you advance the text, nothing happens. The game just sits there playing the music.

  • model z is his consciousness, all models in megaman zx and advent are the consciousness of legends, its similar to the explanation of zeros body, that his original body was stolen by weil while being repaired as his consciousness was kept safely away from it

  • what happened to zero

  • @blackstriker1029 He died and got pseudo-revived as Model Z in the ZX series.

  • Damn, they made Weil have a fetish with so many wires stuck into him...and then it created a freakin monster with a large horn...that's one hell of a final boss.

  • @ZachForgives That may be because "Ragnarok" refers to the apocalypse in norse mythology... which failtastic metal bands seem to adore...

  • This game had some of the best music on the GBA, along with Golden Sun. I thought this the best of the Zero series.

  • I never cared about justice, and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero.

Those are the ultimate words for the final battle.

  • dont you find it odd how in the end,the person who created zero(i know its not actually him,but it is pretty close) is fighting the most powerful thing he made in a battle for the world?

  • the person that created Zero is technically Dr.Wily, because Dr.Wily meant to make another robot master, creating Zero off of Zero.EXE.[BN was the past of the original series]

  • Battle Network? The past of the classic series? Don't make me laugh. Battle Network is an alternate reality. And let me say this one last time: WEIL IS NOT DR. WILY!!!

  • @SuperSketch008

Isn't it like the classic series or battle network series depends on if Light and Wily decide to advance in robotics or wireless communication, right?

  • @MrBowserPuffi But Dr. Light's name is Dr. Hikari in Battle Network. And they looked different. But I guess it could work that way.

  • @MrBowserPuffi

No, Dr. Light himself. Remember he was in the flashback from Battle Network 3? You don't see him alive though. It has been a while so I might be a liittle off.

  • @MrBowserPuffi Did you just...reply to yourself? Or were you meaning to reply to me?

  • @SuperSketch008

Yeah, I meant to say that to you :P

  • @MrBowserPuffi Yeah. Dr. Light in MMBN is named Dr. Hikari, which means "Light" in Japanese. Battle Network takes place in an alternate reality.

  • @MrBowserPuffi you mean the old man in alpha?

  • @SuperSketch008

Ok, but from what I know BN is basically a split timeline to original's timeline. And I didn't say "Wiel is Dr.Wily", dumbass. I'm saying Dr.Wily from the original series is the creator of the Zero in X series, with a prototype version possibly in the split timeline in BN's Dr.Wily, Zero.EXE. >:O

  • @ArconsBlood Oh, okay. I guess I just read your comment wrong. Sorry.

  • is the name "Wiel" supposed to be a pin of sorts of "Wily"?

  • Dr. Weil isn't related to Wily as far as we know. His original name was "Dr. Vile" in the original version, but was changed to "Dr. Weil" in the english versions, so that it isn't to be confused with Vile from MMX.

  • @SuperSketch008

    thanks

  • dr. wiel is the equivelent of dr wily in the megaman series, but is not related to him, thats all..(capcom got to lazy to make up a completely new name,o they decided to twist the original)

  • read SuperSketc's comment.

  • @n00bzXD No according to megaman wikia Dr.Wiel is not based on Dr.Wily

  • who knows :S

  • weils second form isnt/wasnt as cool as the 1st in my opinion

  • "i never cared about justice, and i dont recall ever calling myself a hero...

I have always only fought for the people i believe in. i wont hesitate! If an enemy appears in front of me i will destroy it!

    Ciel....Believe in me!

  • I love that part... Zero is so awesome! Epic battle!

  • @kevin17695

    ciel: ZEROOO! ! !

  • what did weil say when he was destroyed after he was defeated?

  • i never did cared about justice, and i don't recall ever calling myself a hero

    -Zero's best final words

  • that a cool music

  • Omega is an ANTICHRIST !!!!!!!! =()

  • so actually your saying zero is an antichrist, since thats actually zeros original body (lol)

  • nope zero isnt an anti christ, omega is the anti christ. sure its zero's body, but its omega's soul possessing it

  • The final battle of Eternity.

The war is temporary, the sadness is forever.

    R.I.P. Zero.

    Forever.

  • great song.

  • Man, I still remember the adredline rush I got from this epic, climatic battle with Weil. Feel free to rest right now, Zero, your job is done........ or is it? Only time shall tell!

    "Ciel... beleive in me!"

    "ZEROOOOOOO!"

"Ware ga akuma ga!/I am the Devil!"

  • wow... now that you revealed what weil said.. I'm starting to think...

Weil and Omega were in the same side on zero 3, and when you fight omega, he says> WARE WA MESSIAH NARI!(I am the messiah). If omega is the messiah, weil is the devil, and omega was created by weil... them we can say that omega is the ANTI CHRIST! OSHI-!(this would only prove more of omega awesomeness, if it's possible...)

  • Actually, the phrase was Owaranuga Akumuda, which translates to "This is the nightmare that does not end!"

  • Ok, thanks for clearing that up

  • in fact is

    "Ware ga akuma da"

Translated meand"Im a demon" but literary means"Im you worst demon/nightmare"

  • I remember that adrenaline as well, oh man it was awesome. "I never cared about justice, and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero." Epic words.

  • @16tandrews I know it was so philosophical and made Zero's sacrifice all the more badass. In the series Zero barely shows his true intentions for what he does, but there we see Zero open his true colors. A fitting last words for a legend.

  • You're so getting a thumbs up.

  • C'mon Zero, start using those gameshark codes again!

  • "I never cared about justice. I don't even recall calling myself a hero. I always fought for the people I believed in. I won't hesitate! Whenever an enemy appears, I will destroy it!" -Zero

  • I pity anyone who first fought this guy with the sound off.

The fight just doesn't have as much of a sense of total Armageddon without it.

  • "I never cared about justice. I don't even recall calling myself a hero. I always fought for the people I believed in. I won't hesitate! Whenever an enemy appears, I will destroy it!" -Zero

  • Personally I prefer the Zero art style. It makes the reploids actually look like humans and makes them more agile thus more suited for battle.

  • I agree. This is probably my favorite version of Zero.

  • Wily should be weil

Imagine the last battle, the creator against the creation

    wow that was great ^^

  • It's sad Zero died,

But I think there's no way they can bring him back in a game...

  • Atleast he remains personality wise as Model Z

  • In all trueness, Capcom can bring Zero back if they want to. The Rockman Zero Official Works has Zero as "missing". And Zero has been through previous near death experiences (X1, X5) and appeared afterwards. So it wouldn't be surprising to have Zero survive Ragnorok. Even Ciel believes Zero's still out there.

    But again, it's Capcom's choice.

  • That may be true, but the Zero series is different than the X series. The Zero series didn't revive people after death, they stayed dead. Hell, even X died in the Zero series. He died for good too. It doesn't look to me like Capcom would revive Zero again but I could be wrong. They could take all that plot development and throw it in the trash. They've done it before.

  • "The Zero series didn't revive people after death, they stayed dead".

Copy X and various bosses would like a word with you -_-

Their is no rule that binds MMZ to a different death meaning than MMX.

Well, as long as you acknowledge the possibility (unlike darkkatana).

  • Yes, I overlooked the bosses. But what major role did bosses like Anubis Necromances even play? How would it effect the story if they were revived? X did get revived, true, but what role did he actually play in the story? Not a very large one, he was just a puppet. Not a very large impact on the story in terms of defining a character. While also true that there is no rule binding a different meaning of death to MMZ, the series did not kill off major characters and bring them back multiple times.

  • In MMX series, Sigma, Zero, and Vile are the only ones who got several revivals. MMZ Zero is still Zero.

In the end though, Zero after MMZ4 is "missing" and "possibly still in space".

  • Did you even bother reading what I just posted?

I'm saying that the MMZ series didn't kill off major contributors to the plot like the MMX series did. You even stated yourself that: "Sigma, Zero, and Vile are the only ones who got several revivals."

That just further proves my point. Yeah, X never died. However, neither did Zero until the end of his series supposedly. Leaving the same effect plot-wise to the MMZ series as there would be if X died at the end of his. Who, again, died in MMZ.

  • OK, no one major to the plot (besides arguably Copy X) died and got a revival later.

Still, Zero has his history from the MMX series of coming back from presumed deaths. And he's officially "missing, possibly still in space".

My original point here is simply their is no "Zero is definately dead" statement.

Eh...I'm tired and sorta of losing the original intent of this conversation. :p

  • Thanks for removing that mistake I made, sorry about that. And yeah, I agree. I thought you were trying to make a whole other different point. My bad.

  • Whether or not an art style is good is a matter of opinion, though I do agree on Capcom's ability to write a decent plot.

  • For Megaman Zero games, yes..But X games.... Eeeeh...Kind of messed up after X5...

  • How come? The story was decent

The art style was horrible? ROFL, you're kidding right?

Trust me, I can sketch manga and anime perfectly by just looking at it, but when i tried to draw something even as small as a pantheon, or childre inabaritta (w/e his name is) i failed.....MISERABLY

unless you try drawing it yourself and see how much effort they put into it, i suggest you dont diss their art

  • Different strokes, dood. Remember I said "IMO". I prefer normal MMX style over MMZ's "cute" style.

  • i don't find it cuter, I find it cooler. The new zero at least is a lot cooler than boxy zero from the MMX series. This is, as you have stated, my own opinion however, so take it as you will.

  • i agree with Tenck5k

  • I Agree

  • If it were like Megaman X6, it could happen. But, fuck. It's Capcom. Besides, best ending ever.

  • this themehas the same effect on me as caffene, only stronger

  • Well the only thing it showed at the end was his helmet but no body. I wanna beleive he's still alive. I'm goin to look into this.

  • Zero is dead, end of story. He appears in Megaman ZX as a soul in a biometal, Model Z.

    So that proves it.

  • The way Capcom has left it, they COULD bring Zero back if they wanted to.

I don't know much about ZX though...

  • like I said, ZX has Zero as a soul within a metal fragment that the new hero uses to turn into a form of him. So stop asking for it. He's not going to be brought back.

  • You're going to have to accept the fact that Capcom CAN bring Zero back if they wanted to. When you look at Zero's "deaths" in the X series, it'll remain a possibility no matter how much you think it won't?

Did Capcom EVER say explicitly that Zero "died", or did he die at Zero 4's conclusion.

All I'm saying is that it remains a possibility.

  • then explain how they'll do that if he's already shown dead in the ZX games?

You know what, don't even try. You'll hurt yourself in the process and this stupid conversation is turning into a spam here

  • They never said Zero was dead. The Official Works thingy says "missing" IIRC. That's what you need to accept instead of going around saying "he's undeniably dead. get over it".

He could be just like X in the Zero series prior to Zero 3's ending; a cyber elf like being.

Fact is Zero is "missing" after MMZ4, then several years later in ZX, he's Model Z. Does that mean he "died" at some point? Capcom won't say.

We end this here I guess.

  • you know all the showed really in the ZX games was his helmet right? I think he could you know LIVE with out the helmet. There is no solid evidence he's dead. He's just presumed dead in ZX.

  • if they ever did make a 3rd ZX wouldn't it be great if you faced off against him without knowing it...like he was transformed by another evil person...and you didnt find out until you won.

he would use like every single EX skill and have all his powers at max O_o

    SHIZZLE that would be epic.

  • reminds me of the Omega Zero fight in ZX...which was AWESOME!

  • @metaXzero NO, Capcom has only said that zero has gone "missing"

  • I've said that on nearly every MMZ video months back. Why are you telling ME that?

  • funny though, this is the ONLY megaman series they ended. Thank you Keiji, even though im sad, good way to end it

  • zero's never dead, he's just "missing"

  • i hope your right dude.I want zero to live so that there would be a mehaman zero 5

  • It's a sad fact that he's dead.

No one can change his fate. I wanna believe he's alive and missing. DAMN IT CAPCOM!

  • I always wondered wat weil says during the battles...

    ...

    Epic...

  • The website is unavailable now.

    *Sad face.*

  • yep zero lives threw Model Z

  • No, the real Zero is dead

Model Z isn't Zero, is just his DNA, wich allows Girouette to Megamerge and to look a little like Zero, but Model Z has Zero's powers

  • Actually, it is unconfirmed if Zero is dead or not.

  • None of the biometals have their memories. But if someone were to upload them, they would get their memories back. Think of them as the other half of a Cyber Elf. They have the powers of the living being, but not the memories, whereas a Cyber Elf has only the memories, not the original powers. (I think that's how it works.)

  • @HJKLMGPU

I always thought that it said that it was actually part of Zero, but with a wiped memory. And I don't think that reploids have DNA.

  • @HJKLMGPU it has his thoughts and their armor/data or better said his cyber elf form was changed from program as thats wat cyber elves were into physical biometals that can be used by biomatches. im pretty sure that zero turned into a cyber elf to because otherwise where else would they get his data same with x

  • How the model H,L,F,P?

  • @HJKLMGPU well what I read from mega man wiki , is the biometals rebirth all those characters that died in past games

  • "I nver cared about justice, and I dont recall ever calling myself a hero...

I've always fought for the people I believe in. I wont hesitate. If I see an enemy before me, I will Destroy It!

    Ciel believe in me ..."

    zero's final words

  • Model Dynamo!

  • nothing beats this song!!

  • There should be a Model K for Kraft. he was one of my favorite bosses from the Zero series. Of course, Model X is my all time fav.

  • this battle is epic

  • No doubt...in my opinion, the most epic battle in any Mega Man game.

  • I never cared about justice, and i don't recall ever calling myself a hero....

really most epic battle i have seen

  • I've always only fought for the people I believe in. I won't hesitate. If I see an enemy before me, I WILL DESTROY IT!"

    Truly epic lines.

  • Put your carrer aside and start fighting for what u believe what is right and good song BTW part of this comment was refering to the last boss weil

  • man if there are a model r which stands for model ragnarok , it would be a great model.

  • or a model G or model S

    Gate sigma

  • Model W has the Soul of Weil, when he's fusioned with Ragnarok

  • that wouldn't make sense since all teh Biometals are based off of Reploids and Ragnagok is a space ship

  • but it's also part weil and he's a cyborg which kinda qualifies for reploid

  • i mean the sword one .

  • Ah, I absolutely love this song...a truly epic theme for one of the most epic boss battles in a video game. It's Zero's last stand, and goddamn, Weil is probably the most evil character to grace a Mega Man game. But I actually think the remnants of Ragnarok/Weil aren't IMMEDIATELY Model W...a man (I won't say who, because that's spoilers for ZX Advent) has to tinker with these remains before it actually becomes Model W.
