I used to hear this song always on Christmas day,When my parents used to listen to Christmas wishes from abroad and also The royal Wishes and please all remember it is Christmas wishes not anything else.thanks
this song brings back wonderful memories of a beautful childhood on the lovely island of trinidad. still listen to my local trini christmas songs every holiday when the weather is cold and grey and i long for the sunshine and the smell of the fresh, clean air that, home-made goodies that fill the air at christmas time., thanks for posting.
This song made my Christmas complete with my ginger beer, sorrel,Black cake, pepperpot ,garlic pork on Christmas morning,I fondly remember those simple but happy days,in the Guyana of old.thanks
The late Lord Kitchener. One of the greatest calypsonians from the 40's decade all through the 90 decade. Nice parang song by him. This song originally came out in the 1950's. Lord Kitchener re-recorded this song in 1976. I saw it from this website that use to exist. It no longer exists. It was called The Calypso Archives. It was U.K. site. Where you can see all the calypsonians discographies with their calypso albums with record labels and much more.
